If you've been with me for a while now you'll probably have seen me rave about this lipstick once or twice already but I realised I never got around to doing a full blog post on it so why don't I do that today?

I've been in love with Ellis Faas lip products for a while now, if you don't believe me see HERE (apologies for the erratically sized font - I've tried to fix it with no luck so far)
The packaging is pure luxury alone.
I mean look at that packaging!
When I saw that they had a warm beige colour that I had NEVER seen before I had to investigate.
It didn't take me long to figure out the shade was Chocolate Caramel.

Ellis Faas Creamy Lips in Chocolate Caramel (L107) | £23
is described as a luscious nude creme with brown undertones.
Right up my street!

If I had to describe the texture of Creamy Lips I would say it would be similar to a very lightweight satin liquid lipstick.

The lipstick itself is glossy but not lipgloss glossy, you will get a sheen but nothing too reflective.
If we were talking in terms of MAC lipsticks, this would be classified as a cremesheen.

For me these finish of Ellis Faas Creamy Lips gives me the best of both worlds.
I 'm not a big fan of glossy lips but not everyday matte, sometimes I like a moisturised and plump lip and the colour pay off is pretty awesome for such a lightweight product.

All Creamy Lips come with a sponge applicator which at first I wasn't too much of a fan but I don't mind it as much now.
It makes for easy work when it comes to blending in my lip liner, which I use with this shade.

What I really love about this shade is that it is the perfect nude for brown skin.

You very rarely find warm nudes on the market so I had to snatch this up immediately, it is a surprisingly unique colour but the warm undertone means that it's less ashy on deeper skin tones which is what we want.

This shade is perfect for work or paired with a smokey eye.

Either way I love it!
