Lush List: Nelly.com

Nelly
1/2/3/
4/5/6

I love me some Nelly.com!
If you're not aware of Nelly.com, it is an online fashion site that holds brands from River Island to  Motel and Moschino.

They also hold some of the best shoe sales my lil eyes have ever seen, see HERE for their ludicrously low prices!

I love the range of clothes they have and above I've picked out a select few to add to my Nelly wishlist.

Have you visited Nelly before?
How would you style some of the above?
Let me know!

Date Night Lush List

Date Night

1/2/3/4/5/6

Every so often I find maturity hits me slap bang in the face without warning, this has been happening more often than not lately.

As is the case with this post, I was compiling  my 'lush list' when I realised my selections were quite grown and all 'date night' appropriate!
A great one for us singletons and loved up ladies too!

What do you like to buy for date night?
Will you be purchasing any of the above?
Let me know!

Homie Lover Friend Tee: YouWorkIt
Jeans: Topshop Joni
Booties: Gina Tricot
Lipstick: Wet N Wild's Cherry Bomb and OCC Lip Tar in Black Dhalia

If you follow me on Instagram you would have already seen this but I just had to share my win with you guys!
You know when you forget about a item of clothing you once brought and then you find it literally MONTHS later and you're ecstatic?!
Yeah! This is what happened here.

I brought this Homie, Lover, Friend tee almost two years ago after I had first fallen in love with it from seeing a picture of it on Tumblr, but back then I wasn't too sure of my personal style and so quickly left it in the back of my drawer.
Last week I happened to be rummaging around some of my unpacked uni belongings when I found it!
I had plans for it immediately.

Risa has really inspired me to give tees more of a look in, so I popped it straight on with the amazing Joni Jeans for Topshop (I seriously love these jeans guys but bare in mind Primark do a dupe of these for a tenner!) and my Gina Tricot sling back boots.

I love the retro look I've achieved with this.
The possibilities with tees really are never ending, I will definitely be purchasing more in the future!

Are you a tee lover?
Can you recommend some great tee vendors?
How would you style this t-shirt?

Looking.gd

On Saturday I was lucky enough to attend my first ever blogging event!
I met up with the gorgeous ladies Risa and Sade in the rare summer sun in a bustling Soho and we made our way to the Looking.gd HQ.

On arrival we were immediately greeted by the lovely Chloe who handed us wine and directed us to the goodies on offer!

We happily tucked into sweets on the roof and enjoyed the amazing atmosphere on hand!
We were even treated to a fab bag with Ragged Priest (I didn't waste ANY time) and Delilah Dust goodies tucked inside! Amaze!

Chloe took the time to approach us and explain the concept of Looking.gd.

Looking.gd is essentially the modern day Fashionista's paradise!

You can upload your OOTD's straight to the site (the app is on it's way,) vote on the other OOTD's you love as well as join the Looking.gd forum if you love a good ol' chin wag about fashion and style!

The site already has some great outfits uploaded so take a look!

You can even have a sneaky peak at my Looking.gd profile HERE

This is a fab website which is taking off! Get your snaps up there now!
Taking a selfie has never felt so good! ;)

Statement Skirts

I have never been a skirt kinda gal!
In fact I shy away from skirts, not because I don't like them but because trousers are warm and generally more comfortable.
However, I don't know what happened...maybe one of those times I bumped my head I moved something around, I dunno!! But now I am giving skirts a chance!

Above you can see 3 of my statement skirts.

The first

Brought from eBay HERE.
This was my first statement skirt so I was a bit conscious about wearing it but if you're gonna go statement you might as well do it!!!
As you can see here I've gone what you can only call 'the eclectic look' but I feel it works.
I paired this skirt with a black Topshop crop top, H&M fur collar, eBay capped sandals and my fav bobble hat!

The second

Brought from Urban Outfitters (similar HERE)
When I saw this I fell in love, it's edgy but sexy, just what I like!
Here I teamed this skirt with sandals from eBay, sunglasses from eBay and a Topshop tee. To finish off the outfit add a faux leather jacket and your favourite lippie!

The third

I'm cheating a little bit with this one.
This skirt is actually a beautiful dress from ASOS which isn't entirely weather appropriate right now. *sad face*
I REALLY wanted to wear it for a night out so I popped my favourite Topshop crop top (LOVE THESE) over the top of the dress, paired with my Primarni platforms and viola!
This summer dress is transformed into an eye catching outfit for a night out!

I can safely say that I am now a fan of skirts, they are so versatile and allow me to express my femininity in different ways through their different styles!
Thumbs up for skirts yo!

What do you think of statements skirts, are you brave enough to try them?
Which look is your favourite?

Eye Of The Tiger

Mr Gugu & Miss Go Lampart Sweater in Small
Say hello to my new beau Sasha...I genuinely love him.
I ordered this sweater from Mr Gugu and Miss Go what feels like decades ago and it finally came through today.
And it was totally worth the wait!
This super daring sweater features a large Lampart snarling on the back and front making it the definition of a statement piece!
You could pair this daring piece with a pair of black super skinnies, black heeled sandals, a gorgeous clutch and good ol' faithful Ruby Woo or for more dress down days a black jersey midi skirt, white converses and beanie hat!
I can't wait to showcase this out, let's hope the weather allows this to happen soon because I'm getting tired of Winter-Spring!

How would you style this piece?

What statement pieces do you own?

All Black Everything

All Black Everything

1/2/3/4/5/6
I'm tired of apologising for it!
I LOVE WEARING BLACK!
YEAH I SAID IT!
I've never been one to wear overtly colourful clothes and people used to bring me out on it but now I don't care!
I'm embracing my love of noir.
My spending ban means that I can only lust over these items for now, but between you and I that Lampart sweater is on it's way...drool!
(Disclaimer: I haven't broken my ban, brought the sweater before Lent! Hashtag - Winning!)
Please tell me I'm not alone in my love of all black errthang?

Soldier Status

Cossack:eBay/ Snood: American Apparel/
Camo Jacket: ASOS Marketplace/Jeans: Primark/Boots: New Look
This was my running errands look today.
Lately my main aim has been to keep warm.
Cold seems to be my best friend so I make sure I am layered up to the fullest whenever I leave the house nowadays.
Today the weather was just crap however I had some last minute Christmas shopping to do so I donned my camo gear to show the world I WASN'T PLAYING AROUND! *hard face*

I've never been so excited for Christmas, not because of the presents but the company.
I feel as though I haven't spent enough times with my loved ones lately being caught up in my everyday life however around Christmas,
I just FEEL THE LOVE!
(Darius would be so proud of me!)

I can't wait to see my friends and spend time with my family.

Tune I've been LOVING lately...click below:

In case I don't blog before Tuesday, have an overly blessed Christmas guys!
Thank you so much for reading.
Means the world and then some.

Christmas Wish List

1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9

I'd be lying if I said Christmas was my favourite time of the year, in fact I find it stressful and the pressure is immense but that may be due to the fact that for the past few years I have been a poor student around Christmas time.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE Christmas day but the run up is just HECTIC!
I've decided to give my Christmas list a revamp this year, I do not expect all of the above for Christmas but hopefully I will be able to purchase a few of them in the next few up and coming months.

Do you think I'm being a bit premature with my list...then again Christmas does seem to appear earlier each year!

Any great minds sharing items on my list, lemme know!

Vamp

Jacket: ASOS/ Crop Top: eBay/ Disco Pants: Glamorous/ Heels: Primark/
Sunglasses: eBay/ Bracelet: ASOS/
Lipstick: Wet N Wild Vamp It Up & NYX Xtreme Lip Cream in Absolute Red
I felt like a BOWSE wearing this despite it being cold.
Initially I put this ensemble together for a styling post but loved it so rocked it out for a bit today minus the heels. You can also find this on my Instagram (@NatalieKayo)
I was cold as hell but at least I looked good in these Glamorous Charcoal Disco Pants...priorities right? I really like these bottoms as they are high waisted so they make my waist look smaller, WINNING.

On my lips I have another new combo: Wet N Wild's Vamp It Up with NYX Xtreme Lip Cream in Absolute Red on top.

In life I still feel like I have a lot going on and not a lot of time to do it in but I guess you have to give yourself time to adjust to the real world.
Sometimes I feel as though I am still in uni mode.
I think I have to find something to look forward to, does anyone else feel that way?

Song I've been loving lately? Press play below!

Casual

Beanie - Unknown/Top - Miss Selfridge/Jeans - H&M/Converse Trainers(sorry you cant see) - Footlocker/ Lips - Ruby Woo/ Earrings - eBay
This is what I wore today to work, on the weekend formal dress is not required so I decided to change it up a lil bit. I went for the casual look but dressed it up with some lippie. Lipstick is really becoming my fav new accessory!

Recently I have made a conscious decision to work out my style.
I know what I like but it is a case of pulling it off which I am always anxious about so I play it safe. I love this casual look, I feel it's a stepping stone to actually conveying my personality through my clothes instead of just dressing to comfort.

After work did some shopping in Oxford Street which was a COMPLETE nightmare, soooo many slow walking people, NEVER AGAIN!

Hope everyone is well! Can't believe summer is officially over but to be honest it never really began, sigh!
I have a HUGGEE beauty haul coming up as I have been going beauty crazy, also watch out for my next post...more about BB creams - the real stuff!

eBay Dupes

I've been going eBay CRAY!

Seriously I've fallen in love with eBay all over again after stumbling across VIPXO blog a few months back! Her eBay wishlists are my dream!

I've discovered soo many fab new products each day!
Here are two of my favourites right now!

The first items are these perfume dupe roll ons which I scored for £5.15 (including £1.15 p+p)
These are AMAZING!
I LOVVVE perfume but can't bring myself to spend £60 odd on the ones I love.
This store offers your favourite fragrances in an oil roll on form.
Inexpensive and long lasting! I loved these soo much I purchased 6 but gave two away as I think they are soo great.
You can purchase them HERE
I can honestly say that although these are dupes of popular fragrances they are AMAZING dupes, soo spot on.
The other added bonus is that these are in oil form, as someone with highly sensitive skin I can wear these with no bother!
I will be purchasing more, can't believe how AWESOME these are!

The second item are these Ksubi Skeleton inspired sunglasses which I purchased for £8.35 (free p+p.) from this seller HERE (however, the black glasses are currently not in stock) I fell in love with these glasses after seeing Elina of Imperfect Perfectionista (if you haven't read her blog you are missing out...seriously!) wearing the real Ksubi's but after researching the price my heart broke, however, after some hunting around eBay I came across these and its official...I am in LOVE!

I love how edgy they are and they are sooo DARK, as soon as I put them on it feels like night time, LOL!
Can't wait for the weather to improve or for the sun to stay out for more than 10 mins so that I can rock these. They go fab with  my all black outfit!

My cheeky mutt in the background! :)
