Who doesn't love a good shop around Primark -I know I do!
When I came across their beauty stand in my local Primarni I have to say I was excited.
Now, I've not always felt this way about the Primark beauty range but since they expanded the range and bought out some products that caught my eye (matte lipsticks and perfumes) I had to give it another try.
Firstly, I should explain my relationship with perfume.
I cannot bring myself to spend more than £40 on perfume - I just cannot!
Which rules out most of the luxury fragrances out there as I only opt for 50 ml bottles.
This also means I only buy perfume when there's a bargain to be had and bargains are normally found on via Boxing Day sales (or in the case of last year, Christmas Eve sales).
So between September - December (the period where I have normally used up my Boxing Day bargain fragrances) I have to find alternatives.
These alternatives are usually pretty affordable - no more than £25 and are used as everyday perfumes for me.
One of my recent purchases is the new The Body Shop Black Musk which I reviewed HERE.
So what better place to find affordable fragrances than Primark?
Now let me say I was not expecting much.
I love sweet, fruity seductive fragrances and out of the bottles I had tested I was not impressed until I came across this gem.
PS... Love Noir EDT | £3.50 is a fragrance which is right up my street!
With hints of vanilla and blackberry and a slight hint of musk this sweet scent is perfect for everyday wear if you like to go quite dramatic with your scents or perfect for night.
This baby is hard to find, very hard to find and the reason being is because this is the most affordable and the closest dupe of my favourite fragrance Lancome La Vie Est Belle.
Whilst not as strong as La Vie Est Belle EDP, PS...Love Noir is a great alternative!
As the PS...Love Noir EDT can be hard to find, I would also recommend checking out the body spray - just as good as the EDT and cheaper at £1.50 a bottle!
If you love fruity fragrances this is the carefree scent for you - use it without guilt or fear of running out too quickly.
Will I be repurchasing?

DeleteHave you tried newlook pure dusk.. it is a pretty great dupe for lancome I lived this fragrance and have actually just bought the lancome one because I love the newlook one so much.

ReplyDeleteHi love, unfortunately Primark isn't in the States as of yet, if you look online you may be able to find dupes that you can purchase in the States. There seem to be a few!
